Extension and Reorganisation of a Listed Historic Farmhouse in Hertfordshire

The extension of the main pitch roof downwards to form a new double height space, formed a fitting new large entrance hall connecting all the main reception rooms at ground floor level, with a grand staircase up to a landing serving the bedrooms at first floor.  

A sympathetic conservatory extension was built off the kitchen wing.
